My candidate statement

It has been an honor to serve our community for the last five years.  The significant Achievements of our team; Maintained the highest level of fire and emergency services to communities served by the district. Supporting careful fiscal management oversight policies that included balanced budgets, with strong reserves. Reduced the district’s CalPERS pension obligations and started a second retirement tier for new employees.

Upgraded the district’s aging infrastructure such as fleet and building replacements.

Positioning the district for future expansion with land acquisitions. Establishment of the 1st Drone Project(s) to be used in fire-fighting, search, and rescue. Nationally recognized DHS-FEMA Search and Rescue Team. Achieved a 98% resident satisfaction survey with the district’s level of service. All Achievements completed without raising any new taxes or establishing any bond measures. 

After a successful career in public safety and emergency management, I’ve received the endorsements of the many Fire Board current and past members, many local and state elected officials, and present -past public safety professionals.

I am dedicated to ensuring that the district delivers the highest level of services to the communities and business served in a fiscally responsible manner.
